If you're visiting Claremore Memorial Weekend be sure to plan a night at the rodeo! Gates open at 6:00 pm. Pre-Rodeo entertainment begins at 7:00 pm with mutton bustin' and other entertainment nightly Friday, Saturday and Sunday. PRCA Rodeo Performance will begin at 8:00 pm. Watch the top cowboys and cowgirls in the nation compete in bronc riding, barrel racing, bull riding and more!

Rodeo
I went this year for the first time and really enjoyed it except for two things. It said on your website as well as on the tickets that the rodeo would start at 7 pm. We were there at 6:30 and at 7 the Muttin Bustin took place right on time. Then we sat for 45 min with nothing going on except for 100 decimal music. I have been to lots of rodeos and this was the first one with that big gap. Then the barrel racing was just starting at 10 pm and after that the bull riding. Way too late for this old lady so I ended up missing it! Obviously the other problem was the music was so loud that you couldn't hardly talk to your neighbors. Other than that I enjoyed the show.

Too crowded!
Rest rooms horrible and not nearly enough! Need more seating! People came and stood in front of us even though we came early to get a good seat! No one cares that they are in front of others seated! Thought we could purchase one of your T-shirts’! Didn’t see any available! Missing the boat! We’ve been to the Spooner rodeo in Wisconsin and it’s so much nicer!!! Yours could be too! The

Too Crowded
We had no place to sit so we left after a very short time. We stopped by the ticket office to complain that they’d oversold the event. The ticket office was closed and there was a note on the door saying that you could enter free at the other gates. I don’t understand why they would let people in when they were already packed in like sardines.
Poorly organized
First and last time I attend. Event was completely oversold. You insult paying customers when you don’t provide adequate restrooms and seating and then compound the problem with allowing free entry. Poorly organized!

Rodeo announcer not engaged, same script as last year. Rodeo Clown of the year, not a clown at all. Flag barriers did not even carry the America flag during the anthem. For this to be one of the biggest and best rodeos in the United States, where are all of the food and merchandise vendors. Clearly there production and event coordinators were absent from the planning of this event. Won’t be purchasing a VIP package again. Way too many minors consuming alcohol. I will be happy to assist in any way I can to take this rodeo to the real next level. Rodeo grounds clean, parking good. Police traffic control amazing!!
Suggestions!
Very entertaining rodeo, well done! Would be nice if you started before 7:00 and moved it along between events. Sitting in the bleachers for 4 hours is not a pleasant experience! The music is well done but turn the volume down a 1/16 of a turn so it is more enjoyable. I don’t think of AC/DC as your quintessential rodeo music not Guns n Roses.
