Team ropes Rodeo Description
Team rope competitions are usually divided into two sections: the Header (which controls the calf's head) and the Heeler (which controls the calf's hind legs). At the start of the race, the calf is released from the stall and the Header rider needs to lasso the calf's head, and then the Heeler rider needs to lasso the calf's hind legs. Two groups of riders work together to capture and control a fully developed calf. The purpose of the team rope competition is to demonstrate the skills of the cowboys in capturing and controlling livestock during their ranch work. The competition not only tests the individual skills of the riders, but also emphasizes collaboration and cooperation between teams.
