PARTICIPANT RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
AGREEMENT
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS DOCUMENT HAS LEGAL CONSEQUENCES AND WILL AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND ABILITY TO BRING FUTURE LEGAL ACTIONS.
In consideration of being allowed to participate in a PRCA Youth Camp (the “Camp”), I, __________________________
(“Participant”), the undersigned, on behalf of myself and my personal representatives, heirs, successors, assigns, and next of kin,
acknowledge and agree that:
1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in the Camp are significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and
death. This includes risks due to: (i) the propensity of the animals to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm, or death
to persons on or around them; (ii) the unpredictability of an animal’s reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movement,
and unfamiliar objects, persons, or other animals; (iii) certain hazards such as surface and subsurface conditions; (iv)
collisions with other animals or objects; (v) the potential of a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to
injury to the participant or others, such as failing to maintain control over an animal or not acting within his or her ability;
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, EVEN IF
ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERS, AND ASSUME FULL
RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY PARTICIPATION. I hereby certify that I am healthy and capable of participating in the
Camp;
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. I also agree that I will
inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if I observe any unusual hazard or anything unsafe during my presence or
participation, I will bring this to the attention of the Camp and remove myself from participation immediately;
4. I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE PROFESSIONAL RODEO COWBOYS
ASSOCIATION, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, RODEO COMMITTEES, SANCTIONING BODIES,
OPERATORS, VENDORS, SPONSORING AGENCIES, SPONSORS, ADVERTISERS, STOCK CONTRACTORS
AND OTHER OWNERS OF LIVESTOCK USED IN CONNECTION WITH THE CAMP, AND OWNERS AND
LESSEES OF PREMISES USED IN CONNECTION WITH THE CAMP, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE
EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, VOLUNTEERS, DIRECTORS, CAMP INSTRUCTORS, AND OTHER
INDIVIDUALS AFFILIATED WITH THE CAMP (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO
ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY
ASSOCIATED WITH MY PRESENCE AT, OR PARTICIPATION IN, THE CAMP, WHETHER ARISING FROM
THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY
LAW;
5. I HEREBY AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS, DEFEND, AND INDEMNIFY EACH OF THE RELEASEES FROM
ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, CLAIM, DAMAGE, JUDGMENT, LEGAL FEES, OR COSTS ARISING FROM OR
INCURRED DUE TO MY PARTICIPATION IN OR OTHERWISE IN CONNECTION WITH THE CAMP,
WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, TO THE FULLEST
EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW;
6. I am responsible for all property I bring onto the Camp site, and I agree that the Releasees shall have no responsibility for any
loss or damage to my property, including but not limited to horses or other livestock;

7. I irrevocably grant to the Camp (with no obligation of the Camp to compensate me) the right and license, throughout
the world, in any and all forms of media currently existing or created, to use, reproduce, adapt, publicly distribute,
perform, display, broadcast, acquire, activate, retain, and transmit my name, nickname, initials, autograph, facsimile
signature, voice, biography, performance, video and/or film portrayals, photograph and/or electronic likeness and
image and/or facsimile image of me for any purpose, including but not limited to, promotional purposes, web casts,
telecasts, advertising, publicity, and public relations by the Releasees and their affiliates, representatives, sponsors,
and licensees.
8. I expressly agree that (a) this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT is governed
by the laws of the State of Colorado (without regard to conflicts of law principles) and is intended to be as broad and
inclusive as is permitted by Colorado law, and that if any portion hereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall
nonetheless continue in full legal force and effect; and (b) for the purposes of any action or proceeding arising out of or
related to this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, I expressly submit to the
jurisdiction of all federal and state courts located in the State of Colorado.

I HAVE READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGN THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, INCLUDING THAT I AM HEREBY GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL
RIGHTS, AND FURTHER AGREE THAT NO ORAL REPRESENTATIONS, STATEMENTS OR INDUCEMENT
CONTRARY TO ANYTHING CONTAINED HEREIN HAVE BEEN MADE BY ANY OF THE RELEASEES. IF NOT
SIGNED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN BELOW, I REPRESENT THAT I AM EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF
AGE OR OLDER, AND I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EACH OF THE RELEASEES IS RELYING ON THE GRANT OF
RIGHTS CONTAINED HEREIN.
IF SIGNED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN, THE PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN HAS EXPLAINED THE
RISK OF PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY AND SAFETY RULES TO THE PARTICIPANT AND THE
PARTICIPANT UNDERSTANDS THE INHERENT RISKS AND AGREES TO FOLLOW ALL RULES OF
PARTICIPATING, AND THE PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN HEREBY AFFIRMS HIS/HER AGREEMENT TO THE
TERMS OF THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF
HIM/HERSELF, PARTICIPANT, AND EACH OF THEIR PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, HEIRS, SUCCESSORS,
ASSIGNS, AND NEXT OF KIN.
By signing below, I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
I understand that participation in the event hosted by Battle Born Broncs LLC (the "Event") involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, accidents, property damage, and other potential hazards. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event.
I hereby release and discharge Battle Born Broncs LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates (the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action for any injury, damage, or loss to my person or property arising out of or in any way related to my participation in the Event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
I have carefully read and fully understand the contents of this waiver and release of liability. By signing this document, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Event and am aware of the risks involved.
