Montana Rodeos

Located near Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, and more, Montana is a wonderful place to see a rodeo.

Throughout the summer and early fall, it’s easy to find a rodeo in Montana – there are so many rodeos there. Add a rodeo to your itinerary when you plan your trip to the Treasure State.

Valley View Rodeo

Located in Bozeman, Montana, the Valley View Rodeo is a recent addition to the Montana rodeo scene. It hosts rodeo performances from June to August. Some rodeo performances even have live entertainment after the rodeo.

Livingston Roundup Rodeo

Established in 1924, the Livingston Roundup Rodeo attracts top rodeo talent. You can see PRCA and WPRA competitors perform each year in July. The Livingston Roundup Rodeo is a qualifier for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) organized by the PRCA.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) sanctions rodeos and organizes finals each year. The Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) focuses on women’s sports in rodeo. It also sanctions rodeos and hosts finals annually.

In addition to watching rodeo performances, you can also sign your kids up to participate in mutton bustin’.

Whichever tour you choose, you’ll see beautiful pine trees by a stream-fed pond. All tours are guided by a cowboy or cowgirl. Tours run everyday Monday through Saturday.
