I was in this rodeo as a junior barrel racer, and I got thrown off my horse 2 night in a row. The staff was very friendly, making sure I was okay. When I went to watch, the events and organization were great! My only problem is that a underage had swiped a wristband that allows you to purchase alcohol, and was passing it around to other underage people. Other than that, this rodeo is amazing! Give it to all y'all NON-RODEO people to judge it because the parking wasn't nice enough for you.
I’m 15 minutes from the venue. I left my house at 5:45. By 7:30 I was only at beacon light. Once in it was obvious the event was over sold. We saw zero of the rodeo. And two hours in the parking lot trying to leave with no movement. I got home at 12:15 AM.I am requesting a refund. We paid $175 and saw Zero, nothing .not a seat anywhere. We stood in the dirt the entire time with no view of anything but hundreds of people in our same situation. Very poor planning. If there had been an emergency , it would not have played well. Sell the seats you have , over that is just greed and not fair or cool to the customer you took advantage of. We paid to actually see a rodeo not stand in the dirt any not see the show I really feel a refund is in order.
WOWZERS !!!! What an amazing rodeo!! Oh how it has grown over the past 22 years. Congratulations to all the volunteers that make this event happen. I can’t wait for next year.
The $35 outrageous price to go to the rodeo was a big rip off. Others are typically between $10 to $15! The parking was a nightmare, and very dangerous if someone had experienced a medical emergency. Medical help would not have been able to access them. The bleachers were cheap, rinkydink and had no guardrails. They were dangerous to be walking & sitting on. There were young teenage boys/girls and adults in the parking lot passing around bottles of whisky getting hammered PRIOR to entering the event. I felt unsafe [ female] in the parking lot at 11 PM with obviously drunk young/old people on the trucks tailgates with NO security or lighting. The food and drinks were seriously overpriced with a beer costing a cool $7 bucks. Leaving the event was a logistical cluster, taking over one hour to exit...one narrow road out at a snail's pace. I would NEVER go to the Eagle Rodeo again because of above stated reasons. It is disheartening when greed, disorganization and lack of careful planning ruins a good ole boy event!
