Rodeo Ticket knows how to grow your rodeo easily. Our growth tools assist you in getting more attendees. These tools will aid you to grow your rodeo and keep the loyalty of your attendees.
Word of mouth is one of the best methods of gathering more attendees. The referral program gives each attendee who purchases a ticket a unique link in their confirmation email. The confirmation email will also send them the social share buttons that will automatically have their link incorporated. This makes it easy for the attendee to get their link out there and begin earning money back for their ticket purchase. The attendees can then share their unique links with anyone. Once someone signs up using their shared unique link, the original ticket purchaser will get a credit back to the payment method they used to buy tickets. This can be any amount and be set as a percentage or a dollar amount for savings.
When this feature is turned on the confirmation email will say “Attend for FREE When You Refer Friends”. It will then show them exactly how much they can earn back when they use their referral link. Each night of your rodeo can also have it’s own different referral amount if you want to offer more on a Saturday night than a Friday night. You can even set up the user of the links to also get a discount on tickets that they purchase.
Turn on the referrals system in “Growth Tools” from your dashboard, then select “Referral System”. Here it shows all of the categories/nights that you have already set up and then you can select exactly what amounts your attendees can get back. This page also shows how much money and how many attendees were received from the referral program and gives great statistics. You can also look farther and see which attendee referred who.
Social Media consumes a large portion of the day for much of the population and is the number one source for information for many people. We offer a feature that allows you to incentivize your attendees to share your rodeo on their social media. A social media post has the potential to be seen by hundreds, or thousand of people. If you get a few attendees to share your rodeo, you can gain many more attendees.
Many ticketing platforms have social media integration that only get a 1% click rate. With our unique social media discount feature we are averaging over 30% of our attendees clicking to share on social media. You can customize exactly how much of a discount you want to offer to each attendee who shares. Some other things that can be customized are the title, description, and the image so you can choose exactly what you want the shared post to say.
Everyone loves a good deal. By setting up various ticket promo codes, you can incentivize attendees to buy tickets at a discounted rate. A promo code can be totally customized by you and you can share select promo codes with the select attendees you want to use them. For example, if you as the rodeo director have family or friends that want to buy some tickets, you can set up a promo code like, “FamilyFriend30” and offer them 30% off those tickets. You can choose exactly what the promo code is and what the amount they can get off of their tickets.
We also have a feature you can use that can incentivize attendees to purchase many tickets at once. You could set it up to be, 10% off when four or more tickets are bought under the same order. These discount amounts and minimum attendees required for the group discount are totally customizable.
Corporate discounts are also available for you to set up for companies. These could be set up for companies who are sponsoring your rodeo, or for large employers in your area. When you set up a company for a rodeo corporate discount you can even have automated verification that only employees in that company get the discount. This is done by either uploading the emails from the organization, so that only people with very specific email addresses can claim discount codes, or you can simply have Rodeo Ticket set up to validate on domain in an email. For example if you have Boot Barn as a sponsor you may want every email address that ends in bootbarn.com to get a discount. Only people that actually have an address that has the right email ending would be able to have the promo codes sent to them after they go to make their rodeo discount request. This makes it far easier for you to make sure that there is not any rodeo promo code abuse with one-time use promo codes, and you no longer have to make the codes yourself. Our system makes this all automated when you turn on our rodeo corporate discount feature. This is also a great way to get more sponsors for your rodeo.
Attendees can often be interrupted during the ticket purchasing path by a phone call or other things. We have a feature that will automatically send out an email after a cart has been abandoned. The attendee who started a ticket purchase will receive an email with the subject line of, “Let Us Help You Finish What You Started”. The email also contains a link that takes them directly to their ticket cart that they had left. This email is a great way to re-engage an interested attendee and get them to finish their purchase. On average we see over 20% of abandoned carts get completed with our automated incomplete reminder feature.
When the online ticketing form is created for your rodeo before you want the tickets to go on sale, a countdown clock will appear on the page that shows when ticketing will open. Your attendees will see this clock when they click on your ticketing page and even have the option to input their email address for a notification when ticketing opens. This feature helps you to have more attendees buy tickets on the opening day and it builds your email list for you throughout the year. You have people visiting your website all year, so why not build your email list while your form is closed. Sometimes an attendee may forget about the date or other details so the email is a great reminder (especially for visitors to your site that may not be in your email list).
Since attendees can enter their email address after buying tickets, you also have the opportunity to communicate with them via email, through your dashboard on Rodeo Ticket. We have created a mass mailer for you to email all of your attendees at once. You can also email attendees from previous years. It is very important to communicate with your attendees to keep them updated on all of the rodeo’s information.
