Barrel Race Rodeo Description
Contest content Race Route: The barrel race uses three identical barrels, arranged in the shape of alfalfa leaves. Riders and horses need to go around these barrels as fast as they can to complete a clover-like race course. Timing method: During the race, the rider and horse start from the start line, go around the three barrels, and finally cross the finish line, and the race is completed. The whole process needs to be fast and precise, because the one who takes the least time wins. Equipment and costumes Rider Gear: Riders typically wear the standard clothing of cowboys, including a cowboy hat, long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and western boots. Sometimes, the rider also carries a whip to get the horse to accelerate, but the race rules for the whip. Horse Equipment: Western Barrel Races generally do not require riders to use a specific armature, but rather choose the right equipment according to the horse's needs, such as chest straps, armature chains, bow leather, etc.
